Unkown Roads
Lead me on.
Down a road never known nor trod.
To a place of calm reverence
Down the unknown road.
Lead me on
To a place where no tears are cried.
The road may be difficult,
But if unknown roads lead away from here,
Lead me on.
Guide and comfort me
Down a road that leads to love.
To a place where I may rest
From all fears and cares.
Lead me on
Though I know not the way.
I place my hand in thine
And trust in Thee
To lead me on
Down the Unknown Road
The Ultimate Gift
The Sun was gone, yet the light did not cease,
For Tonight was a night when the World would know peace.
The Sun was gone, but a Star overhead
Shone brightly upon a new Babes bed.
A new Dawn was Dawned in all Eternity,
As a Savior was born to make all men free.
A Star marked His birth, an Angel declared
His arrival, in a Virgin Mothers care.
This young Boy, this New-born Babe
Was to be Messiah, the Gift God gave
Of His only Son, Jesus the Christ,
Who would save Mens souls, and pay the price
Of Atonement; and die on Calvary
So that all my live and return to see
The face of our Father, who dwells in Heavn above,
And watches over us in care, and in love.
He would suffer pain, and of sorrow, every kind,
So that He would know us in our Hearts and in our Minds.
He would kneel and suffer in great agony
To Atone for our Sins in Gethsemane.
This young Babe, born on Christmas Day
Would grow to be the Man who would have His life to lay.
He died for us. Yet arose once more
And broke the chains of Death so Man, rich and poor,
May live again, and rise from the Grave
Because of the Sacrifice, the Gift Christ gave.
We all shall live, and no more may die
Because of the Babe that once did lie
In a stable, His cradle but a stall.
And so we must all on bended knee fall
To thank our God for the Gift of His Son
So that the victory over Death may be won.
May we keep in our Hearts on this Christmas Day
The Gift that was givn, and the Price that was paid
Through this little infant child born under a star
Who would grow to be Messiah, the Savior,
Jesus the Christ.
I Cry Unto Thee
Lord, I cry unto Thee.
Every hour of every day.
In times of sorrow, in times of need.
Only my heart can feel
What words cannot say.
Lord, I cry unto Thee
To express how much I love thee
As I strive to meet the measure
Of how much thou lovest me.
Lord, I cry unto Thee
In times of trial by fire.
Calling for strength, that I may not tire
That I may grow stronger
To bear the challenge thou givest unto me.
Lord, I cry unto Thee
In thanks and similitude
For the sacrifice which thou hast made.
In reverence awed By the matchless love
Thou hast shown unto me.
Lord, in need, in awe, in love,
And in gratitude,
I cry unto Thee.
Wherever I may go
Wherever I may go,
You are always here with me.
Helping me, guiding me, loving me
Showing me the way.
I am here, alone and on my own.
Away from those I love.
Separated from a Nation
Of which I hold so dear.
Surrounded by strangers,
In a foreign land.
Yet you are here with me
As you have always been.
Although you are my Savior,
To me, you are more than that.
You are my guide, my companion.
My protector, my strength.
Because of you, I am not alone
Wherever I may go.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are troubled on every side With many afflictions and trials From
which we cannot hide. But we have been blessed And no longer are distressed.
We are constantly perplexed By
the constant, petty strife Which always occurs within our life Causing us to make constant repair And yet, we
are not in despair.
Persecuted are we for the paths which we take Martyred, abused, beaten, broken. Shall
the Lord forget us, forsake? Nay, have your faith become strengthened, For we shall never be forsaken.
Cast
down are we, from the respect of our peers For we have dedicated of our lives, these few short years. But with broken
hearts, and contrite spirits, Proclaiming the gospel for others to hear it, Our Lord protecting us, that we not be
destroyed.
We are troubled on every side, Yet not distressed. We are perplexed, But not in despair. Persecuted,
but not forsaken. Cast down, but not destroyed.
